Meaning:
When the one, who was focusing on anointing with milk
shivalingam made of sand at the (shore of) maNNi river,
castigated the father who came to ruin that deed,
our Lord of thirukkOLili blessed him as chaNDIcan
and gave the flower bunch.

1. chaNDisha is a post of divinity. It is also a name of God

God gave Its name and form to vicAracarumar for staying
focused on God not bothering whether the one who disturbs
the worship is a kith or kin.
