Meaning:
Contemplating the Father, the Lord of immortals
Who stood as the great Pursuit - Its abodes,
this ten song garland said by the lord of koccaivayam
(cIrkAzi) with flourishing gardens of favored flowers,
in this world those devotees who are enthused to
hail respectfully, with melting emotion during
the day and night mindfully, they have good fortune
and would not be separated from the Perfect Foot
of Lord shiva.
Notes:
1. This is a thirukkaDaikkAppu (completion) verse
of sambandhar thEvAram where he promises
glory for those who worship the Supreme using
these songs as a medium. They get to be never
separated from the Feet of God !
2. kshEtrakkOvai is the padhikam where many holy
abodes of God get listed. appar and sundharar also
have sung such padhikams.
3. unnal - think deeply; irunilam - earth; veruval -
get to fear.
